Will the AFTERSHOCK make it to the OSCAR?

China - When Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon (2000) and Departures (2008)  paved way to Oscars, this is another year for hopeful directors and producers to line up their work for an Oscar nominations. Slumdog Millionaire reached the thread for co-collaborations when they won several awards in the Oscar this year.


So, who will compete this year? Let us give to Feng Xiaogang's blockbuster Aftershock, the all-time domestic box office leader in China with $71 million euros and a film which drew on the talents of production crew from all over the region. The final nominations for best foreign film will be announced on 25 January 2011 and the 83rd Annual Academy Awards will be presented on 27 February 2011.
